How We Clean Algae from UAE Beaches

Beaches face seasonal algae growth at the tidal zones which are frequented by swimmers. Previous method used involved deployment of technicians with rakes to manually remove the algae from the infested areas. Alpha Environmental Solutions LLC (ALPHA) provides alternative advanced method for Beach Algae Cleaning service from beaches to replace labour-intensive and ineffective manual algae cleaning methods Equipped with advanced beach cleaning machines and a fleet of 13 custom motorboats, we provide expert beach cleaning and shoreline maintenance to protect and preserve coastal environments.

This method utilizes specially designed bottom cleaning system that is mobile and efficient in removal of filamentous algae that is attached and semi attached to beach basin. The cleaning system can operate at depth down to 10 meters from sea surface and can reach a distance as far as 30 meters from lowest tidal line of the beach. The cleaning system is operated using boats as well custom designed compact land mobility system.

This method has minimum disturbance to the public or beach activities, and only the area that is scheduled for cleaning will require limiting access to the tenants and visitors.

Shoreline algae is driven by the same nutrient loading that affects inland water bodies, so beach cleaning is often carried out alongside lake management and environmental consultancy work on the same property.
